War-torn country, Ukraine is willing to launch its counteroffensive to retake the Moscow-occupied region, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday in an interview.

We strongly believe that we will succeed. I don’t know how long it will take. To be honest, it can go a variety of ways, completely different. But we are going to do it, and we are ready.”

Zelenskyy told the Wall Street Journal.

Ukraine expects a counterattack to recapture Russian-occupied will alter the motion of the battle that has raged since Moscow invaded its neighbor, Kyiv 15 months ago.

Last month, the Ukrainian President prevent Kyiv to counterattack as they were required to wait for Western armored vehicles to reach. Ukraine must maintain Western support, as Zelenskyy needs more military aid which is an essential need for Kyiv to recapture Russian-occupied territory.

Russian troops hold Ukraine’s east, south, and southeast territory.

Over the past weeks, Ukraine has expanded its strikes on Russian ammunition depots and logistical ways.
