The heartfelt news coming in that the famous Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu has been found dead under the wreckage of the home in Antakya, Turkey that was hit by the Feb 6 earthquake. Nana Sechere, the Atsu’s agent was the first who reported the news of the death of Christian Atsu.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce to all well-wishers that sadly Christian Atsu’s body was recovered this morning, Nana Sechere tweeted.
Hatayspor Administrative manager Fatih LLek remarked that if Atsu hadn’t scored in the previous game, he wouldn’t trapped in Turkey’s earthquake.
Before the match against Gaziantep FK before the earthquake Christian also informed the instructor that he needed more time, “Am I allowed to depart if find a team”.”
