Former Manchester United soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a plane load of care items to victims of the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.
Last month, a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake rocked several parts of southern Turkey and Syria resulting in the loss of thousands of human lives and large-scale destruction of properties.
The 38-year-old Ronaldo has paid for tents, food packages, pillows and blankets, beds, baby food and milk and medical supplies to help aid the humanitarian effort.
Ronaldo has been deeply affected by the scenes that has seen so many lose their lives and wants to make a difference.
However, In the past, he has shown his generosity by paying $83,000 to fund a child’s brain surgery and donating $165,000 towards a cancer center in his native Portugal.
