On Monday, Israel closed all checkpoints across Jerusalem and across the entire West Bank for a third day, restricting all activity and movement, Israeli forces have obstructed entry of Palestinians into the Al-Aqsa, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.
According to reports from WAFA, Israeli forces have reportedly shut the main Qalandia checkpoints that connect the northern West Bank to Jerusalem, and all Bethlehem checkpoints connecting the southern West Bank to Jerusalem.
The state news agency reported that the Shufat refugee camp, Beit Iksa, and al-Jib checkpoints across Jerusalem have also been closed for a third day to control any movement of the Palestinians.
Israeli forces have blocked entry of Palestinians into the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem since Monday morning, permitting only elderly people to enter the mosque, WAFA reported quoting local sources.
