Scooter Braun Prepares to Launch New Star Group Following Recent Client Exodus

Scooter Braun, the renowned talent manager, is set to make a bold move in the music industry after recent client departures. Partnering with Geffen Records, founded by music mogul David Geffen, Braun is gearing up to introduce a groundbreaking ‘global girl group’ that aims to take the music world by storm.

In an unprecedented collaboration, a US record label and a K-pop entity are joining forces for this ambitious project, which seeks to propel the girl group into the spotlight of the global music scene. However, this endeavor is not just about music; the entire journey of the band’s formation and rise to fame will be captured in an upcoming docuseries set to be released on Netflix.

The inception of auditions for this exciting project goes back to November 2021 when HYBE and Geffen Records unveiled the HYBE x Geffen Global Girl Group Audition. With a staggering pool of over 120,000 submissions, the selection process was rigorous. Ultimately, 20 exceptionally talented individuals have been shortlisted to form this remarkable group.

Scooter Braun has recently taken on the significant role of being the sole CEO of HYBE’s American operations, a division overseen by Bang Si-Hyuk. Collaborating closely with him is John Janick, CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M, collectively steering this innovative initiative towards success.

These developments come in light of news that Ariana Grande recently severed her professional ties with Braun as her manager. Additionally, other high-profile artists, including Demi Lovato, J Balvin, and Idina Menzel, have also chosen to part ways with his management.

Interestingly, it was revealed that Ariana Grande signed a five-year contract with HYBE merely a month ago, hinting at her ongoing association with Braun’s ventures.

In parallel, People Magazine reported that Justin Bieber is in the process of parting ways with his long-time manager, marking a significant transition as he embarks on his musical journey independently after 16 years of collaboration.

The collaboration between Scooter Braun and Geffen Records, along with the fusion of talents from different musical genres, promises to shape the music landscape in new and exciting ways. With their eyes set on global stardom, the upcoming ‘global girl group’ is poised to redefine the music industry’s boundaries.

As anticipation builds, music enthusiasts around the world eagerly await the unveiling of this trailblazing project and its journey through the spotlight.
