Amidst the ongoing divorce process, Jodie Turner-Smith has disclosed the name of her 3-year-old daughter with Joshua Jackson. Turner-Smith, who filed for divorce from her spouse of five years, citing irreconcilable differences, has sought joint custody of their daughter, named Juno Rose Diana Jackson, as per documents acquired by PEOPLE.
Additionally, the documents reveal that Turner-Smith has filed to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to either party.
Turner-Smith, a British actress and model, and Joshua Jackson, known for his roles in “Dawson’s Creek” and “The Affair,” initially crossed paths at Usher’s birthday party in 2018. They fueled rumors of an impending wedding when they appeared to obtain a marriage license in Beverly Hills in August 2019. Their marriage was later confirmed on August 18, 2019.
On International Women’s Day in 2020, Turner-Smith took to her Instagram Story to share the joyful news that she and Jackson were preparing to welcome a baby girl. She posted a video of her pregnant belly, excitedly writing, “Can you see her dancing in there? Every time I try to record, she stops.”
Their daughter was born on April 21, 2020, and although the couple kept most details of the birth private, their representative confirmed that both mother and baby were healthy and happy. In a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute a month later, Jackson thanked his wife for “making me a father” and praised her for her grace and commitment to motherhood.
