Tom Cruise, the iconic Hollywood actor, apparently owes Strictly head judge Shirley Ballas a substantial sum of money for a dance lesson she provided him years ago. The debt, totaling £600 (approximately $728.28), remains unpaid, and Shirley Ballas recently addressed the matter during an appearance on “This Morning.”
Shirley Ballas originally revealed the outstanding debt during an episode of the panel show “Would I Lie To You.” She recounted how she had given Tom Cruise a three-hour dance lesson, a lesson that should have lasted for two hours but ran over. The lesson took place several years ago when Cruise was married to Nicole Kidman, and he wished to surprise her with a salsa dance for their anniversary.
On “This Morning,” host Josie inquired if Tom Cruise had finally settled the debt to Shirley Ballas. However, the dance judge humorously confirmed that he had not paid her yet. She then directly addressed Tom Cruise through the camera, urging him to “get your cheque book out.” Holly Willoughby and Josie also joined in, encouraging the actor to “pay up.”
It remains to be seen if Tom Cruise will eventually fulfill his financial obligation for the memorable dance lesson.
