Britney Spears has brought to light a previous dispute with ITV, accusing the network of censoring her remarks concerning her parental conservatorship. The pop icon shared her frustration, noting that her 2016 talk show appearance included discussions about the conservatorship but mysteriously omitted them from the broadcast.

According to reports from the UK’s Sun, the talk show in question was hosted by renowned British presenter Jonathan Ross. During her appearance in 2016, the 41-year-old Spears discussed her ninth album, “Glory,” and took the opportunity to touch on her conservatorship, revealing, “I have had this conservatorship for years, and I felt like a lot of decisions were made for me, so I wanted this to be my baby, and I’ve been really strategic about it.”

ITV, however, has denied Spears’ allegations and explained that her comments led to intensive discussions between ITV executives and Spears’ team. An insider revealed that the revelations regarding the conservatorship had taken everyone by surprise, as it had never been publicly discussed before.

Ultimately, ITV decided to censor Spears’ comments, preventing them from being included in the broadcast. This incident serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges Britney Spears has faced in sharing her personal experiences and perspectives with the world, particularly concerning the sensitive topic of her conservatorship.
