In a heartfelt gesture following the success of his debut album “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” 50 Cent expressed his love for his grandmother by gifting her a C220 Benz. The G-Unit rap star reminisced about this touching moment during an interview on Apple Music’s The Rebecca Judd Show.

“I bought my grandmother a C220 Benz. I’ll never forget because when I got the car, I got it right away, is the first thing I bought when the deal was done,” shared the 48-year-old, referring to his record deal with Eminem’s Shady Records in 2002.

The New York rapper recounted coming back from tour and finding his grandfather on the porch, having a reflective moment. “I came back, and my grandfather was on the porch, and he was having a moment,” 50 Cent revealed.

“He said, ‘I just went to work. I went to work, hurt my back, came back, and she done brainwashed my kids.’ He was talking about my grandmother because he was looking at her car in the front yard, and he didn’t have a car. He had the older car, and he said, ‘I went to work, hurt my back. Until my back hurt, everything,'” shared the “In da Club” rapper.

The poignant story sheds light on 50 Cent’s deep connection with his family, showcasing the meaningful impact of his success on his loved ones. It also highlights the emotional significance of the car as a symbol of appreciation and gratitude for his grandmother, Beulah Jackson, who passed away in 2014.
