Lady Gaga has shared the first look at Joker: Folie à Deux, a musical sequel to 2019’s Joker. Gaga posted the photo on her Twitter account late Tuesday.
The singer/actress Gaga shared a photo of herself in character, along with Joaquin Phoenix reprising his hit role as the Joker.
According to reports, Gaga is playing a version of Harley Quinn, the Arkham Asylum psychiatrist who falls in love with the Joker and ultimately becomes his partner in crime.
Director Todd Phillips, who helmed 2019’s dark villain origin tale “Joker,” also posted the same image to his social media with the caption, “Happy Valentines Day.”
However, It has not been confirmed what role the singer/actress will be taking on. But a teaser released last summer offered a clue that she may be starring as Batman villain Harley Quinn, a character most recently played in several DC movies by Margot Robbie.
