Arnold Schwarzenegger Faces Customs Scrutiny and ‘Criminal Charges’ Over Unregistered Luxury Watch

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the iconic 76-year-old actor, found himself entangled in legal complications as he encountered a delay at a German airport, post his arrival from Los Angeles, according to reports from The U.S Sun. The cause of this setback was reportedly a high-end watch discovered in the actor’s luggage, as outlined by BILD.

Valued at €26,000, the custom-made luxury watch had allegedly not been properly registered as an import, prompting customs officials to question and inspect Schwarzenegger for an extended duration. The consequences have escalated to the initiation of “criminal tax proceedings” against the renowned star of “The Terminator.”

A spokesperson from customs, speaking to the German publication SZ, underscored the obligation for all individuals, irrespective of their status, to declare goods brought into the EU through customs. The spokesperson emphasized, “This applies to everyone, whether their name is Schwarzenegger or Müller, Meier.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger, accompanied by his partner Heather Milligan, was reportedly en route to a charity auction in Kitzbühel, Austria – his second hometown beyond the United States. The incident casts a spotlight on the complexities and legal obligations associated with the transportation of luxury items across borders.
