“The King was discharged from the hospital this afternoon following planned medical treatment and has rescheduled forthcoming public engagements to facilitate a period of private recuperation,” the statement read.

This significant development follows Charles’s admission to The London Clinic, the same medical facility where his daughter-in-law, Princess Kate Middleton, underwent a “planned abdominal surgery” just 13 days prior.
In tandem with the King’s discharge, Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, has also returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery. Kensington Palace provided an update stating, “The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery. She is making good progress.”
