Ben Affleck appeared visibly stressed while enjoying a quiet walk with his son, Samuel, and their dog in their Brentwood neighborhood on Saturday, January 18th. The 52-year-old actor seemed frustrated as photographers caught him during the outing, showing the toll of a particularly tough week.
Affleck, best known for his role in Gone Girl, dressed casually for the walk in black trousers, a navy blue and tan cardigan, and a beige bomber jacket to stay warm. Meanwhile, 12-year-old Samuel was seen in plaid trousers and a plain grey hoodie, as seen in pictures posted by fans on social media.
The father-son duo’s walk came after an undeniably difficult few days. The Afflecks were forced to evacuate their home due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Thankfully, they were able to return safely by January 8th, but the stress of the evacuation still seemed to linger.
Adding to the tumult, the actor’s home was later raided by FBI officials investigating unauthorized activity in the area. The authorities are reportedly looking into whether any of this activity was captured on Affleck’s home security cameras.
In addition to Samuel, Affleck shares two daughters—18-year-old Violet and 15-year-old Seraphina—with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. Despite the challenges, it’s clear that the actor remains focused on his family, even as he navigates these tough situations.
