Amy Schumer recently shared a funny and unexpected moment when Bradley Cooper asked her a personal question that left her completely taken aback. The actress and comedian, 43, recounted the bizarre interaction during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Cooper, who celebrated his 50th birthday on January 5, casually asked Schumer if she had also turned 50, assuming she had reached the milestone as well. “I saw him, and we exchanged pleasantries, and then he said, ‘You know, I turned 50 this year,’” Schumer recalled. “Then he asked, ‘You 50?’”
Schumer, shocked by the question, quickly tried to recover from the awkwardness. “I tried to recover—I’m 43, so I said, ‘I will be 50! But I’m not 50 yet! Yeah, no, I’m not, Bradley, but thank you for thinking of me.’”
The comedian also revealed another fun tidbit, explaining that people frequently mistake her for actresses Melissa McCarthy and Rebel Wilson. The mix-ups seem to happen often, adding a humorous touch to her already memorable encounter with Cooper.
