Kim Kardashian is opening up about the challenges she’s facing as her daughter, North West, embarks on a growing career in the spotlight. In a sneak peek for season 6 of The Kardashians, the SKIMS founder shared her emotional struggles about balancing motherhood and managing her 11-year-old’s emerging success.

In the clip, Kim confides in her mother, Kris Jenner, and sister, Khloe Kardashian, about the unexpected turn in her family’s life, saying, “I thought I was busy before, but North having me as her momager right now is crazy. It wasn’t on my list. It wasn’t on my Bingo card for this year.”
The “conflict” Kim is referring to revolves around her internal dilemma of managing North’s career while trying to protect her childhood. Kim, who has always been a hands-on mom, has found herself torn between celebrating her daughter’s rising career and making sure she enjoys the fun, carefree moments of childhood.

Kim elaborated, “I’m really conflicted about my daughter’s career, so we’re going to talk about that soon. I just really want to make sure that everything’s really well balanced.”
The reality star expressed her desire for balance, ensuring that North’s professional engagements are complemented with enough life experiences that allow her to be a kid. “I just want balance,” she explained.
North has had quite a busy year in the spotlight, already making her mark with notable accomplishments. She starred as Young Simba in The Lion King production in May, appeared on her father Kanye West’s song “Talking/Once Again” in February, and was recently featured on FKA Twigs’ song “Childlike Things.”

Despite the excitement over her daughter’s career, Kim’s main concern is ensuring that North’s childhood remains grounded, something that most mothers can relate to when their children begin to enter the public eye at a young age.
As North’s career continues to grow, it’s clear Kim’s mission is to navigate the path carefully, preserving the balance between her daughter’s professional pursuits and her right to a childhood filled with fun, growth, and memorable life experiences.
