Jennifer Aniston is embracing gratitude after celebrating her 56th birthday on February 11. The Friends alum took to Instagram to thank her fans and friends for their heartfelt wishes, sharing a nostalgic black-and-white childhood photo.
“Thank you for all the beautiful birthday wishes! This kid is feeling very grateful and very loved,” she wrote in the caption.
Her longtime friend and Friends co-star Courteney Cox also honored the special day with a touching tribute. Cox, 59, posted a throwback picture of the two smiling together, writing, “Happy birthday to my friend for life. Never has there been a more generous, loving, beautiful, talented, funny, loyal friend.”
She continued, “I feel so lucky to be growing up with you. Remember our CATS audition?” referencing a nostalgic moment from their early days.
As Aniston basked in birthday love, reports surfaced suggesting she has been keeping a close eye on fellow Friends star David Schwimmer’s new romance. Sources claim that Aniston has been somewhat “intrusive” regarding Schwimmer’s relationship with 29-year-old UCLA medical student Eliana Jolkovsky, believing he would be happier with someone closer to his age.
“Jen can’t help meddling, and David means a great deal to her. She doesn’t think this is a good match,” an insider revealed.
The Murder Mystery actress is reportedly concerned that Schwimmer, 58, might face heartbreak again, given his past romantic history, including his marriage to Zoe Buckman, which ended in 2017.
“He keeps repeating the same mistake over and over, and Jen has watched him lurch from one relationship to another,”the source added. “She doesn’t want to see him hurt again and feels he’d be better off with someone his own age.”
