Kate Middleton May Skip Coronation Procession

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, may not join the upcoming Coronation Procession on May 6th due to her tendency to experience motion sickness from the rocking motion of carriages, according to a report from express.co.uk.

As a senior member of the royal family, Middleton is expected to participate in the procession, which will take members of the Firm from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace. However, the duchess may have to skip the event due to her discomfort in carriages.

Reportedly, during the Trooping the Colour carriage procession in 2019, some royal fans noticed Middleton looking unhappy. Quoting The Mirror, express.co.uk explained that “The truth is the Duchess of Cambridge gets very seasick and doesn’t enjoy the rocking motion of carriages.”

In addition to her motion sickness, Middleton’s reported allergy to horses may also be a factor in her reluctance to participate in the Coronation Procession. Nevertheless, the Duchess will likely continue to fulfill her royal duties and engagements with the same dedication and professionalism that she is known for.

Despite the potential absence of Middleton from the procession, the Coronation ceremony is expected to be a grand affair, with senior members of the Firm including the King and Queen leading the way in the historic Gold State Coach. The procession will serve as a symbolic display of the royal family’s power and prestige, as they make their way through the streets of London amidst cheering crowds.

While Middleton’s presence would undoubtedly add to the grandeur of the event, her health and wellbeing must come first. Regardless of her participation in the Coronation Procession, the Duchess will continue to be an important member of the royal family, representing the Firm with grace and dignity.
