The woman behind ChatGPT warned about the inappropriate use of AI

Mira Murati, a 35-year-old girl of Indian origin. The woman behind ChatGPT, which is the latest technology that has taken the world by storm.

Mira Murati, who is one of the genius minds behind ChatGpt has worked in OpenAI for over 4 years. She stepped into her current role as CTO in May 2022, according to her LinkedIn bio. The team led by her worked on the development of ChatGPT.

In an interview, Mira gave her two cents on AI and its consequences on the real world, She said, “[AI] can be misused, or it can be used by bad actors. So, then there are questions about how you govern the use of this technology globally. How do you govern the use of AI in a way that’s aligned with human values?”

Albanian-American @miramurati is the creator of ChatGPT, the AI technology that is the fastest-growing consumer app in history, having reached 100 million users just two months after launch.

She also admitted that she and her team felt “trepidation” in putting the chatbot out in the world, and had no idea it would gain the kind of traction that it did.

Mira was born in 1988 in San Francisco to Indian-origin parents. She completed her Bachelors of Engineering from the prestigious Dartmouth University’s Thayer School of Engineering. After graduating, she went on to serve large conglomerates including Goldman Sachs (2011), Zodiac Aerospace (2012-2013), Tesla (2013-16), and Leap Motion (2016-18).

However, Currently she is working as the SVP of Research, Product & Partnerships at OpenAI.
