The report, covering data from April to June 2025, highlights TikTok’s proactive measures to detect, review, and remove content that violates its safety and community standards.

Over 189 Million Videos Deleted Worldwide

According to the report, TikTok removed a total of 189,578,228 videos during the second quarter of 2025. This figure represents approximately 0.7% of all videos uploaded to the platform during the period.

Of these, 163,962,241 videos were identified and removed through automated, computer-aided detection systems, showcasing the platform’s growing reliance on AI to maintain content safety. However, 7,457,309 videos were later restored after further human review determined they did not breach TikTok’s guidelines.

Millions of Fraudulent and Underage Accounts Removed

In addition to content moderation, TikTok intensified efforts to preserve the platform’s integrity by removing 76,991,660 fraudulent accounts during the same timeframe. The report also revealed the removal of 25,904,708 accounts identified as belonging to users under the age of 13, in line with the company’s policies to protect minors online.

Key Violations Highlighted in the Report

TikTok’s Q2 2025 findings also shed light on the nature of content violations.

  • 30.6% of deleted videos contained sensitive material that contravened the platform’s content restrictions.
  • 14.0% breached TikTok’s behavioral standards, which govern user conduct and interactions.
  • 6.1% violated privacy and security policies, underscoring TikTok’s focus on protecting user data and digital well-being.

Commitment to Transparency and User Safety

The latest enforcement report reflects TikTok’s data-driven approach to content moderation, combining advanced technology with human oversight to maintain platform accuracy and accountability.

TikTok encouraged users to review both the Q2 and Q1 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Reports to better understand the platform’s evolving safety framework and commitment to compliance. These reports are available in English and Urdu, expanding accessibility for a broader global audience.

With its latest report, TikTok continues to demonstrate transparency and vigilance, reinforcing its goal of providing a safe and inclusive space for creative expression worldwide.
