In the messages, Paul indicated that he was lost and needed help, providing contact information for individuals who might assist him. Unfortunately, there has been no response from this group.
One of the people Paul urged his mother to reach out to was a woman named Izabele Medeiros, who later posted a statement on Instagram translated from Portuguese to English. She stated that they were actively looking for Paul but needed to wait a certain amount of time before involving the police due to a lack of concrete information.
Celebrity blogger John Yates shared screenshots of the text messages sent by Paul to Edna, with her permission. In these messages, Paul appeared to admit to making a mistake and mentioned needing a boat as his phone was about to die, causing him to lose GPS.
Paul’s wife, Karine Martins, confirmed that police were becoming involved in the search. She shared an emotional Reel on Thursday featuring photos of Paul and their children, with a caption that hinted at past memories. She expressed her hope that Paul would be found safe.
This is not the first time Paul Staehle has gone missing. Last year, he and his son Pierre were reported missing, and he was accused of kidnapping Pierre. However, he later returned to Kentucky with Pierre and handed custody over to his parents, explaining that he did not want to deal with the drama involving Child Protective Services. The missing person’s report was subsequently closed.
