Brielle Biermann, the daughter of reality TV personality Kim Zolciak, is currently facing a legal conflict with American Express due to an outstanding credit card balance of $12,870.25. Legal papers obtained by TMZ suggest that the 26-year-old has reportedly fallen short of making the required minimum payments on her Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card.
In response to the lawsuit, Biermann’s representative informed TMZ that she is committed to resolving the outstanding balance by Wednesday, signaling her intent to promptly address the financial matter.
This legal conflict is the latest in a series of financial challenges faced by the Zolciak-Biermann family. Both Brielle and her mother, Kim Zolciak, along with her stepfather, Kroy Biermann, have encountered legal difficulties related to unpaid debts.
As a strategy to tackle their financial issues, Zolciak resorted to selling some of Brielle’s high-end designer items last month, with asking prices reaching as high as $20,000. However, this unconventional approach didn’t completely shield them from further financial complications.
Back in late June, Kim Zolciak encountered a legal battle as retail powerhouse Target filed a lawsuit against her for an overdue balance of $2,482.24. Target National Bank claimed that Zolciak hadn’t made any payments towards the balance since September 2022. The lawsuit aimed not only to recover the unpaid amount but also the accumulated interest on the debt.
The legal battle over unpaid credit card debt sheds light on the financial pressures faced by some individuals, even those in the public eye. It also underscores the importance of prompt and responsible management of financial obligations to avoid legal repercussions.
