Hathaway will star as Verity Crawford, a renowned author left incapacitated by a mysterious accident. The gripping story unfolds as struggling writer Lowen Asleigh takes on the daunting task of completing Verity’s bestselling series.
As Lowen spends time at the opulent Crawford estate, she stumbles upon a chilling, unfinished manuscript. The discovery reveals dark, unsettling secrets about Verity’s past, leaving Lowen to grapple with whether the manuscript is a twisted work of fiction or a forewarning of something sinister.
Nick Antosca has penned the latest version of the script, building on earlier drafts by Hillary Seitz, Angela LaManna, Will Honley, and April Maguire.
