Brad Pitt has made a rare and candid statement about the valuable life lessons he has learned following the conclusion of his lengthy divorce from Angelina Jolie. The Bullet Train star and former partner have been entangled in legal proceedings since Jolie filed for divorce in 2016. After eight years of battles, the couple finally reached a settlement in December 2024.
Speaking at the premiere of his upcoming film F1, Pitt shared insights about growth and resilience. “No matter the mistake, you know, you just learn from it and move on,” he told Entertainment Tonight. He added optimistically, “It’ll lead to the next success.”

At 61, Brad Pitt also emphasized the importance of cherishing close relationships. “Really, I think you get to my age and see how important it is to surround yourself with the people you know, the people you love, the people that love you back,” he said. “Friends, family, and that’s it. From there, we get to go make things. It’s a pretty simple, I think, equation.”
During their relationship, Pitt and Jolie shared three biological children and also adopted three others, building a large family together. Despite their separation, the actor’s recent reflections highlight his focus on growth, family, and moving forward positively.
