Taylor Swift may have been seen alongside Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, cheering for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce but Swifties, you need to calm down.
Swift fueled the considerable rumors about her love life when she accepted an invitation from Kelce to watch him play at Sunday’s match against the Chicago Bears. A source said that once Swift heard about the invite, she didn’t allow a busy schedule to prevent her from accepting. This comes months after the singer split ways with Joe Alwyn, her ex-boyfriend of six years, in April.
In July, Kelce said on his brother Jason Kelce’s podcast that he attempted but failed to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it at her Eras Tour concerts.
But Swift and Kelce’s relationship status has been a mystery.
Jason Kelce said on September 20 in an interview on the WIP Morning Show, “I think they’re doing great and I think it’s all 100% true, and I hope this thing goes a mile — no, I’m joking, I don’t know what’s happening.”
Swift showed her team spirit by sporting a red-and-white Chiefs jacket, which was later tied around her waist as she exited the stadium.
Footage from the match showed the singer smiling, cheering, and clapping enthusiastically as she saw Kelce and his teammates. At one moment, she even raised her hands in excitement.
But when it comes to Swift, meeting a possible beau’s mom isn’t as surprising as one might guess.
Swift was photographed in Suffolk in 2016 with then-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston and his mother, Diane Hiddleston, per E! Online.
However, the meeting probably didn’t count for much considering how short their relationship was. The duo’s whirlwind romance culminated after three months.
