Mission Impossible star Vanessa Kirby has recently shared her admiration for her co-star Tom Cruise’s fearlessness while performing a dangerous motorcycle stunt for the franchise’s upcoming eighth installment.

In a recent interview with Variety, Kirby spoke about Cruise’s impressive feat of jumping off a motorcycle after riding it off a cliff in Iceland. “He did it many times in one day,” Kirby recalled, gushing about Cruise’s ability to perform the stunt repeatedly in order to capture all angles and sides of it.

Kirby continued to express her awe for Cruise, remarking that he showed no fear during the stunt, even finding it exhilarating. “He kind of believes he can do the impossible and then he does…I love being a part of the franchise. I’m really excited to come back,” she added.

Kirby, who plays The White Widow in the franchise, also revealed that she has signed on for one more installment and hopes to continue playing her beloved and ambiguous character. “My character, I love playing because she’s kind of unusual, strange and fun and ambiguous,” Kirby stated.

The upcoming Mission: Impossible movie, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, is set to hit theatres on July 14, 2023. With Tom Cruise’s fearless stunts and the franchise’s reputation for intense action, fans are eagerly anticipating what’s to come in this new installment.
