Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in New York City following his arrest, once revealed his wish to invite Prince William and Prince Harry to one of his notorious “Freak Off” parties. The admission came in a 2011 interview on The Graham Norton Show, a clip of which is now circulating online.
In the interview, Diddy shared his hope of having the royal brothers join his lavish parties, which were infamous for their wild and extravagant nature. According to the 55-year-old rapper, Prince William and Prince Harry were not able to attend his events at the time, as they were busy adjusting to their royal responsibilities and settling into adulthood.
However, the Bad Boy Records mogul expressed regret that the princes couldn’t join his parties a few years earlier when they were younger and, in his words, “getting into a lot of trouble themselves.” Diddy joked, “So hey, I was like, why won’t you hang out with me?”
A Change in Plans
When Graham Norton asked if Diddy would still extend an invite to the royal brothers, the rapper replied, “Trust me, they are off the list.” Despite his earlier wish, neither Prince William nor Prince Harry ever attended any of Diddy’s white parties, which were often linked to rumors of illicit activities and wild behavior.
The revelation from Diddy’s 2011 interview provides a glimpse into the wild world of celebrity parties, where even the British royal family was once a potential guest. However, it seems that the princes never took up the invitation, leaving the music mogul to continue hosting his infamous parties without the royal presence he once imagined.
