Donald Trump has launched a sharp personal attack against Bruce Springsteen following the rock legend’s recent political remarks during a live concert.
The controversy began when Springsteen took the stage in Minneapolis as part of his Land of Hope and Dreams tour, using the platform to critique Trump’s administration.
Springsteen’s Concert Criticism
During the performance, Springsteen described the current political climate as “very dark times” and accused the White House of undermining America’s global reputation.
“While working Americans struggle, our president and his family enrich themselves by billions of dollars trading on the people’s office in corruption unmatched in American history. This is happening now,” Springsteen told the crowd.
He continued, “This White House is destroying the American idea and our reputation around the world,” urging citizens to uphold values like honesty and compassion.
Trump Responds on Social Media
Within 24 hours, Trump fired back on his Truth Social account, dismissing Springsteen’s talent and appearance while accusing him of political bias.
“Bad, and very boring singer, Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, sometimes referred to as TDS,” Trump wrote.
He continued, “The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a President who won a Landslide Election, including the popular vote, all Seven Swing States, and 86% of the Counties across America.”
Trump also encouraged his supporters to boycott Springsteen’s upcoming concerts.
