Renowned actor Jason Momoa, best known for his roles in Game of Thrones and Aquaman, has disclosed the secret location where he can find respite from the challenges of excessive public attention.
In a recent conversation with People, Momoa candidly discussed the difficulties he encounters while attempting to keep a low profile in public. The Hollywood star addressed this issue during discussions about his new travel series, On The Roam, attributing his distinctive and robust physique as the cause of constant camera attention.
Acknowledging his 6’4″ height, Hawaiian background, and unique fashion choices, Momoa humorously confessed, “I get recognized wherever I go.” Elaborating on the challenges, he added, “I’m 6’4”, Hawaiian, probably in stripes and in pink, not being subtle, so. It’s just the way it is.” The actor even shared a lighthearted anecdote about attempting to shield his face from paparazzi, only to realize that recognition persisted, stating, “It’s still like, you’re not getting away with anything. It’s still me.”
Despite these struggles, Momoa revealed a rare instance when he managed to go incognito successfully. This unique experience took place during the filming of the movie Dune in the Middle East. Recalling the incident, he said, “You know when I got away with it, I was in Jordan and you’ve got to be fully wrapped and covered up.” Expressing his delight, he added, “It was amazing. No one knew. I was standing next to people, it was great.”
Momoa’s revelation about his hidden oasis offers fans a glimpse into the actor’s humorous perspective on dealing with fame and the occasional joy of escaping the spotlight.
