Currently busy filming her upcoming romantic comedy Office Romance alongside Brett Goldstein, the global superstar has even more in store for fans. As revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, the On The Floor singer is set to return as the host of the AMAs, a role she last held in 2015.
Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions, made the announcement on Wednesday, April 9, expressing his excitement over the return of the multi-talented performer. “We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards,” he shared. “Jennifer’s incredible talent and incomparable stage presence make her the ideal host of the show.”
He added, “We know she will bring her one-of-a-kind energy to the official kickoff celebration of summer.”
