In the wake of Jonathan Majors’ recent guilty verdict in an assault and harassment trial, his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, has taken to social media to express her gratitude and advocate for a cause close to her heart.
The 30-year-old dancer and movement coach shared a heartfelt statement on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, acknowledging the support she received during the trial and emphasizing her appreciation for the organization that represented her, the Sanctuary for Families New York.
With her birthday approaching, Jabbari used her platform to convey a unique birthday wish to her followers, stating, “For my birthday, if you want a donation to @sffny, a charity that helped me so much this year, would be the best gift you could give.”
Jabbari further highlighted the importance of supporting Sanctuary for Families, and in particular, thanked their lawyer, Ross Kramer, who represented her during the trial. She guided her followers on how they, too, could contribute to the cause and seek assistance.
“Thank you so much @sffny, and everyone else… For everything,” she concluded, accompanied by a heartfelt pink heart emoji.
In addition to her heartfelt message, Jabbari shared a post from the organization that included contact information and hours of operation for Sanctuary For Families, as well as details for two other domestic violence support organizations: NYC Domestic Violence Hotline and Empower Center.
As Grace Jabbari navigates through the aftermath of the trial, her advocacy and call for support shed light on the importance of organizations like Sanctuary for Families in providing assistance to those in need. Her courageous stance not only expresses gratitude but also serves as an invitation for others to join in creating a supportive community.
