Kylie Jenner, the renowned Kardashian star, is set to make a unique guest appearance in the iconic animated series, “The Simpsons.” The 26-year-old celebrity is all set to play herself in the beloved show’s “Treehouse of Horror” Halloween special. However, her cameo comes with an intriguing twist.
In a sneak peek released by Variety, Kylie Jenner is portrayed donning a striking black robe featuring a pyramid and USB drive design. With her hair slicked back, diamond earrings, and a smoky eye look, she assumes the role of guiding Marge Simpson on a mission to rescue her son Bart, who has mysteriously transformed into a non-fungible token (NFT).
During the episode, she imparts some tech-savvy wisdom, saying, “This key is a backdoor through the blockchain’s cryptographic protocol.” Jenner then draws Marge in for a selfie and adds, “Once you’re inside, find Bart and use it to get both of you out.”
In an interview with TVInsider, episode writer Brian Kelley hinted at Kylie’s appearance on November 5, teasing that long-time fans of the celebrity won’t be surprised. He describes her character as a secret member of a covert group of enlightened techno-geniuses responsible for protecting the digital universe, allowing ordinary mortals to use it safely. He humorously concludes, “Who else could she be?”
Kylie Jenner’s cameo in the Halloween episode of “The Simpsons” is just one of many celebrity crossovers gracing the show. The upcoming episode also boasts a star-studded cast. Mr. Burns, voiced by Harry Shearer, will fall for Persephone, played by Elizabeth Banks, a character reminiscent of Silicon Valley entrepreneur Elizabeth Holmes, who was convicted of fraud.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Mr. Burns adopts the “fake it until you make it” motto and decides to fund Persephone’s questionable dream project. Alongside Banks, the episode will feature the return of Ken Burns, as well as appearances by Kara Swisher and Andrew Ross Sorkin, playing themselves. The episode also includes other notable figures like Peter Jackson, Christiane Amanpour, and Peter Coyote.
Kylie Jenner now joins the ranks of iconic celebrities who have made their mark on “The Simpsons.” The show, which recently commenced its 35th season on October 1, has previously welcomed stars like Lizzo, Halle Berry, Jane Lynch, David Letterman, and a host of others into its fictional world.
Fans of the show can catch “The Simpsons” on Fox at 8 p.m. every Sunday for a dose of entertaining celebrity cameos and the classic antics of the Simpson family.
