Lizzo Receives Support from Tour Staff Amidst Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Lizzo, the renowned rapper and singer, is currently facing a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by her former dancers. However, in a recent turn of events, her tour staffers have come forward to dismiss the allegations and offer their support.

According to TMZ, legal documents obtained by the publication reveal that 18 independent tour staffers have voiced their opposition to the claims made against Lizzo by her former dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez. These tour staffers have also provided written declarations expressing their support for Lizzo.

One of the tour staffers, Melissa Locke, disclosed that she had conversations with two of the plaintiffs involved in the lawsuit against Lizzo, Davis and Rodriguez. According to Locke, the plaintiffs never indicated that they felt uncomfortable or pressured. On the contrary, they expressed enthusiasm about the positive experiences they had during the tour.

Kiara Mooring, another dancer on the tour, pointed out that the allegation of facing consequences for not going out with Lizzo does not align with her own experiences. Mooring clarified that many dancers, including herself, chose not to participate in an outing on a specific night but still retained their jobs as dancers on Lizzo’s tour.

Additionally, Alaini Walker, who joined Lizzo’s tour as a dancer after the accusers were no longer part of the team, shared her experiences. Walker noted that she had faced racial discrimination, body shaming, and sexual harassment in the entertainment industry but emphasized that none of these issues occurred during her work with Lizzo. She specifically highlighted the absence of body shaming during the tour.

These declarations from Lizzo’s tour staffers have been submitted as part of a legal motion filed by the singer’s attorney. The motion seeks the dismissal of the claims made against Lizzo, providing her with crucial support during this challenging legal battle.
