The platform stated that the documentary series would feature behind-the-scenes Messi, who scored seven scored goals to help his team to lift the World Cup trophy in Qatar back in December.

In Messi’s words, he tells the classic story of his exceptional career with the Argentina national football team, delivering an close and unique look at his hunt for a World Cup victory.”

Apple TV+ said in a statement.

But not any actual date has been provided in public for the documentary. The series will be produced by Smuggler Entertainment and it will be filmed in Paris, Qatar, and Argentina.

The four-part documentary series will recall Messi’s career, beginning with his debut in 2005 when he was sent off two minutes after coming on as a replacement and including World Cup final defeat back in 2014.

It will come to an end with the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner’s lifting of the World Cup trophy last year.
