Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince and Princess of Wales, have long been admired for their dedication to parenting, and the early years of their eldest child, Prince George, were no exception. In a recent revelation, it was disclosed that Prince William adopted a distinctive parenting tactic to soothe his young son, Prince George, when he was born in 2013.

Choosing to be actively involved parents, the royal couple faced the same challenges as any new parents, including sleepless nights and the demanding task of soothing a fussy infant. In the case of Prince George, it was said that he would wake up as many as six times during the night, leaving the Duke of Cambridge, in particular, to grapple with balancing his royal duties and his newfound role as a father.

According to Mirror, Prince William found the early days of fatherhood to be quite challenging. A source revealed, “New dad Prince William found this particularly taxing as he worked to balance parenthood with his royal duties.” In search of a solution, he turned to a rather unexpected remedy.

In an effort to comfort his young son, Prince William decided to sing to him. What’s intriguing is the choice of songs: Coldplay’s hits, including “Viva La Vida,” “Clocks,” and “The Scientist.” These anthems from the popular British band became Prince George’s lullabies of choice.

The insider disclosed that the Prince’s approach was somewhat unconventional. “He’s using a peculiar tactic of belting out Coldplay anthems at all hours of the night, even though he can barely hold a note,” they mentioned. The effectiveness of this method was the key, as the soothing melodies seemed to have a profound impact on the young prince.

Interestingly, Coldplay wasn’t even Prince William’s favorite music group, but he discovered that these particular songs resonated most with Prince George, helping him settle down and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.

This revelation offers a heartwarming glimpse into the Prince of Wales’s early days as a father. It underscores the lengths he was willing to go to ensure his child’s comfort and well-being, showcasing his commitment to being a hands-on and nurturing parent. Prince William’s unique lullabies are a testament to the universal nature of parenting, where even a future king turns to the magic of music to soothe his child.
