A source close to the Eras Tour superstar told Page Six that Swift, 35, feels “deeply hurt” by what she perceives as a betrayal by Lively, 36, during the legal conflict. The insider said, “Taylor buries hatchets but keeps maps of where she put them, remember?” — a nod to lyrics from Swift’s song End Game.
The source emphasized Swift’s disappointment, claiming, “She will forever be furious at how Blake quite clearly was using her for clout and leverage in her dealings with Justin. She really hates that Blake would even think like that, let alone write the things she did in that text.”
Fallout Over Court-Revealed Texts
The tensions began when texts between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni were submitted as evidence in a now-closed lawsuit. In one of the messages, Lively allegedly referred to Swift as her “dragon” or protector — a sentiment that sources claim Swift never agreed with or identified with.
“The truth is, the text wasn’t even accurate,” the insider noted. “Taylor would never think of herself as Blake’s ‘dragon’ or someone who would interfere on her behalf.”
The insider also pointed to lasting damage caused by Baldoni’s decision to publicize the messages. “The damage Justin did by revealing those texts—especially the ‘dragons’ text and his initial subpoena, even though he later dropped it—is lasting and probably permanent.”
