Taylor Swift and SZA are reportedly on the verge of teaming up for an exciting collaboration, with SZA sharing a major update following Swift’s recent return to the spotlight.
During her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the Grammy-winning R&B artist revealed that Swift was open to the idea of working together after SZA pitched the idea to her.
SZA shared her excitement, saying, “It’s so interesting to me, every time she walks up to me or approaches me, I’m always like, ‘All right, this is happening.’ Because that’s fully Taylor Swift. But I think when I mentioned that I’d love to write with her and build something together, she was open to it.”

She continued, “I love her storytelling, and she’s so awesome. I have so much respect for her. She’s so bossed up.”
The Snooze singer then elaborated on her love for deep storytelling in music, mentioning artists like Gracie Abrams, Lola Young, Doechii, Olivia Rodrigo, and Chappell Roan, whose work reflects the human experience. “There’s a lot of deep inner storytelling that really reflects their human experience. I respect that, so I’m just trying to dive deeper into the human experience,” she said.
Known for hits like Kill Bill, Good Days, and Snooze, as well as her critically acclaimed albums Ctrl and SOS, SZA hinted that fans can expect good news soon, noting that messages from Taylor Swift always bring good fortune.
With both artists at the top of their game, fans are eagerly awaiting what could be one of the most exciting collaborations of the year.
