Rapper Travis Scott has left fans in speculation after sharing a cryptic Instagram post following the recent postponement of his Friday night concert at the United Center in Chicago, just hours before it was scheduled to commence.
In an Instagram Stories post, the 32-year-old rapper wrote, “U ever spent 24 hours on a runway I have. F*k that Sht.” This enigmatic message appears to be an attempt by Scott to address his fans and possibly offer insights into the circumstances that led to the sudden decision to postpone the show, part of his ongoing Circus Maximus tour.
The official announcement of the show’s cancellation came via the venue’s official X account, yet it provided no specific details regarding the cause behind the decision, leaving fans in the dark about the reasons for the last-minute change. Moreover, the rescheduled dates were not disclosed to the public.
Travis Scott is presently on his Circus Maximus tour, marking a significant return to the stage two years after the tragic Astroworld incident in 2021. The Astroworld tragedy occurred during a concert in Scott’s hometown of Houston, Texas, where a crowd rush resulted in the deaths of ten fans on the first night of the event at NRG Park.
According to Daily Mail, eight concertgoers lost their lives during the crowd rush, with an additional two fans, including a nine-year-old, succumbing to injuries sustained during the tragic incident.
As fans await further clarification, Scott’s cryptic post has added a layer of intrigue to the situation, prompting questions about the challenges or unforeseen circumstances that led to the concert’s abrupt postponement.
