Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary with a heartfelt new photo released on May 19. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex marked the special occasion with a never-before-seen black-and-white image shared by Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As ever.
Captured by longtime friend and photographer Jake Rosenberg in March 2024, the photo shows the couple walking hand-in-hand outside their Montecito, California home. Meghan, 43, gently rests her hand on Harry’s shoulder as they exchange a warm and loving glance. Rosenberg, who has worked with Meghan on various projects including her Netflix series With Love, Meghan and the images featured in her March 2025 PEOPLE interview, described the moment as “authentic” and “genuine.” He shared with PEOPLE that shooting with Meghan “feels like two friends hanging out” without the pressures of a big production.
The anniversary photo was posted on Instagram by As ever, accompanied by a touching message: “Sometimes two is better than one. Wishing a very happy anniversary to our founder @meghan and her husband Prince Harry.”
Alongside the black-and-white portrait of the couple, a color image of twin palm trees from their Montecito property was also shared. Meghan previously explained that these palm trees were a key reason they fell in love with their home, saying, “One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees… he goes, ‘My love, it’s us.’”
