Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was greeted with a warm welcome from her children, Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte, as they reportedly organized a special welcome home party for their recovering mother. The Princess, who spent 14 days in the hospital for an abdominal procedure, returned to her family home, Adelaide Cottage, where her children eagerly awaited her arrival.
While the royal offspring did not visit their mother at The London Clinic during her hospitalization, insiders revealed that Princes George and Louis, along with Princess Charlotte, have been actively involved in caring for their mom since her return. According to reports, the children went the extra mile by crafting “get well soon” cards and preparing some of Kate’s favorite snacks to lift her spirits.
Despite the kids not physically visiting the hospital, the insider noted that they have been exceptionally “hands-on” in supporting Kate during her recovery. The family is expected to make up for lost time, with Kate taking a break from her royal duties to focus on her health. It’s anticipated that the Princess will resume her official duties after Easter.
In a noteworthy move, Prince William, the Prince of Wales, has also temporarily stepped back from his royal engagements to be by Kate’s side and spend quality time with their children as they navigate this period of recovery together.
