Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to have made little shift in public perception following their recent visit to Australia, according to a new survey.
A Roy Morgan poll of 1,767 respondents found that while awareness of the trip was high, it had limited effect on how Australians view the couple.
Majority Oppose Relocation to Australia
The survey indicated that 59% of respondents said they would not want the Sussexes to live in Australia, compared with 41% who said they would support it.

Only 19% of those surveyed said the visit improved their overall view of the couple.
Limited Impact on Royal Relations
The poll also suggested minimal belief that the trip could influence relations within the Royal Family.

Just 13% of respondents thought the visit could help improve Prince Harry’s strained relationship with King Charles III.
Mixed Messaging From Insiders
Despite the poll results, unnamed sources close to the couple reportedly claim Harry and Meghan feel encouraged by the reception they received during their visit.
According to the report, the couple believe the trip demonstrated strong public support and reinforced their view that they can still play a meaningful public role.
The insider also suggested that Harry sees their recent engagements as part of a broader effort to establish a new form of public-facing work outside the traditional royal structure.
Ongoing Public Debate
The findings highlight continued division in public opinion surrounding the Sussexes, with their role outside the Royal Family still generating debate in both the UK and abroad.
