Harry and his wife, Meghan, who left the UK for for a new life in the US in 2020, have faced criticism in America due to their controversial statements in interviews, docuseries, and Harry’s memoir.
The Duke’s claims of using drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, mushrooms, and ayahuasca have raised concerns, with a conservative think tank calling for the potential revocation of Harry’s visa for illicit substance use.
The Heritage Foundation, based in Washington, has requested the US authorities to release Harry’s visa application to determine whether he disclosed any drug use.
The couple’s popularity has also taken a hit, with recent polls showing they are less popular in the US than in the UK.
Despite this, some American comedians, including Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, and Trevor Noah, have made light of Harry’s memoir.
