Adele, the renowned British singer, experienced an unexpected and sentimental moment during her recent concert, which left her reflecting on her son’s growth and kindled a desire for another child.
The 35-year-old songstress was delivering a special Halloween performance at Caesars Palace on a Saturday night when she spotted a familiar face in the audience – the doctor who had delivered her son, Angelo.
During her heartfelt rendition of “When We Were Young,” a song dedicated to the late Matthew Perry, Adele’s eyes met with her gynecologist in the crowd. Touched by this serendipitous encounter, she left the stage to personally greet and embrace him.
Upon returning to the stage, Adele opened up about the rush of memories that her doctor’s presence had invoked and playfully hinted at possibly reaching out to him soon.
“I’m desperate for another baby, Colin, so I might give you a call. My son turned 11 a couple of weeks ago, and he’s not a baby anymore, it’s crazy,” she confessed.
In a more lighthearted tone, Adele humorously shared that her maternal instincts were beginning to stir, suggesting that her womb was “aching” for another child. She quipped, “It’s like, ‘Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby.'”
Adele, who shares her 11-year-old son Angelo with her ex-husband Simon Konecki from their three-year marriage, playfully concluded the evening by expressing her readiness to embrace motherhood once again. This candid moment on stage resonates with many parents who experience the swift passage of time and contemplate the idea of expanding their families to welcome new additions.
