Jason Momoa is gearing up to take on his dream role in the highly anticipated DC film Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, where he will make a cameo as the infamous DC villain, Lobo. The Aquaman actor, who has been a fan of comic books since childhood, expressed his excitement and nervousness about portraying the character, saying it’s a role he has always dreamed of playing.

In an exclusive conversation with Screen Rant, the 45-year-old actor shared his nerves about the film, confessing he wasn’t sure how the audience would react. “This is the role I’ve always wanted to play. I mean, that’s the comic I love. I’m really nervous about it,” Momoa said. “It’s kind of a no-brainer to play this character,” he continued, indicating how much it means to him to finally bring Lobo to life on the big screen.

While he’s excited to dive into the world of Lobo, Momoa is also juggling the promotion of another major project. He is set to star in A Minecraft Movie, a new adventure film directed by Jared Hess. In this video game adaptation, Momoa will star alongside Jack Black and Jennifer Coolidge. The movie is slated for a global release on April 4, 2025, and promises to be an exciting new venture for the actor.

With both Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and A Minecraft Movie on the horizon, fans of Jason Momoa can look forward to an action-packed year ahead, with his portrayal of Lobo and his work in the world of Minecraft providing a thrilling mix of roles.
