The Grammy-winning singer and her entourage arrived at O Xesteira around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, and indulged in a feast that left even the restaurant’s chef speechless.
According to Chef Luis Rodriguez, the visit was both memorable and overwhelming as Lopez and her team had an impressive appetite, enjoying a wide array of traditional Spanish dishes.

“They ate a lot. It seemed too much to me,” Rodriguez shared. “I even told the head waiter to take some dishes away because I thought they wouldn’t finish it all. But I might have regretted that—they ate everything.”

The group, which included seven people seated across two tables, enjoyed a gourmet spread featuring:
- Two portions of oxtail and cecina croquettes
- Three salads
- Grilled leeks
- A platter of cheeses

“It was a totally disconcerting experience because she’s such a media figure,” said Rodriguez. “But her security team helped us manage everything smoothly beforehand.”
