An investigation by Wired has revealed the intricate details of Koolau Ranch, showcasing over a dozen buildings that include two central mansions seamlessly connected by a tunnel leading to a remarkable 5,000-square-foot underground shelter. Notably, this subterranean refuge boasts an escape hatch, complete with living quarters and a mechanical room featuring a door crafted from “blast-resistant” concrete and steel.
The grandeur of Koolau Ranch extends further with plans for at least 30 bedrooms, 30 bathrooms, guest houses, and a cluster of 11 interconnected “disk-shaped” treehouses linked by picturesque rope bridges.
