Following the massive box office success of Terrifier 3 in 2024, director Damien Leone has officially confirmed that a fourth installment is on the way. The filmmaker not only announced Terrifier 4 but also teased major plot details, including the long-awaited origin story of Art the Clown.

Leone took to Instagram to share the news, posting an image of the script’s front page. In his caption, the 43-year-old expressed gratitude for the overwhelming birthday wishes he received from fans and used the moment to unveil his next big project.

“The script for Terrifier 4 is underway, and it is shaping up to be the most epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional, and satisfying conclusion to the Terrifier saga,” he wrote, adding that he has “never been this excited” for any of his scripts before.

What makes this upcoming sequel particularly significant is its focus on the origins of Art the Clown, played by David Howard Thornton. Leone confirmed that the film will finally shed light on the mysterious and terrifying character, writing, “P.S. I will finally reveal Art’s origin in this entry.”

With Terrifier 4 promising to deliver a chilling and emotionally charged finale, fans of the franchise can expect an unforgettable conclusion to the horror saga.
