ECB’ comments on Alex Hales
ECB is not putting any pressure on Hales as they understand the situation. Alex Hales is still a part of the plans ahead in white ball cricket. He is still in consideration for representing England in ODI World Cup 2023. Matthew Mott, England’s coach is still in consideration about him as he said,
Alex Hales is a proper cricketer for all former of cricket. There is not a single reason why couldn’t get in the squad of 50 over’ game. We don’t play a lot of 50-over cricket that’s why we are facing some tough challenges as we have to select the squad for ODI World Cup. I hope if Alex would play 50 over cricket and keep his momentum in it then there’s no excuse to keep him out of the game.”

England regarding on structure fees
England’s structure are expected to be increase against different country’ leagues.
National Players opting not to play for national team has raised further questions over England’s contracting structures and, with franchises increasingly powerful, whether greater weight should be given to tour and match fees (£5,000 for ODIs and £2,500 for T20Is) rather than retainers.”
